Development Characteristics
Over the years, many Taiwan middle- and high-level business executives have been living in the southeast coastline of China. The University, collaborating with the National Kinmen Institute of Technology, established an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program in Kinmen as the first one of its kind among Taiwan’s national universities. This program has been designed to give Taiwan business executives the framework, experiences, and knowledge necessary to address the challenges of regional economic integration and globalization. Future Outlook
Besides cultivating Taiwan business executives for overseas investments and global development, the EMBA program is also responsible for producing high-level management leaders for the Tainan Science Park, the Kaohsiung Science Park, Kaohsiung’s Sea and Air Transportation Center, and the Multifunctional Trade Park,
and emerging industries.
Courses Offered
The student body of our program is very diverse in terms of demographic. The majority of the students are Taiwan business executives who live in Taiwan, Kinmen, Xiamen (China), and neighboring cities. Courses at EMBA are taught with a powerful balance of theory and real world application through case studies, experiential activities, and class discussions. Students need to take 13 courses of three credits each and complete a thesis that counts for 6 credits. A total of 45 credits is required for the MBA degree.
